ADHD & Attention
Summer Program | Ages 5 - 10
Four-week summer treatment for children who have ADHD or who need help with behavioral, learning and social issues.
Intensive Behavior Treatment
For children with severe symptoms or families traveling long distances for treatment, we offer intensive interventions with highly specialized behavioral approaches.
Anxiety
Brave Buddies® | Ages 3 - 12
Group treatment and weekly sessions for children who are diagnosed with selective mutism (SM). The Child Mind Institute’s Selective Mutism Service is an innovative program that helps children with SM overcome their symptoms using state of the art evidence-based behavioral interventions.
Emotion Detectives Group | Ages 8 - 12
A supportive and fun group environment to teach children emotional awareness and practical strategies for coping with uncomfortable emotions in a variety of situations.
Social Anxiety Groups | Ages 9 - 24
Group treatment that teaches children, adolescents and young adults coping skills to help them manage their anxiety as they practice facing their social fears.
Intensive OCD Treatment | Ages 5 - 24
An intensive treatment program for those struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related disorders including chronic tic disorders, hoarding and trichotillomania.
Depression & Mood
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) | New York, Ages 7 - 25
Group-based therapy for those who struggle with mood swings, depression and anxiety, and self-injurious or suicidal behavior. Skills groups are offered for children (7-12), adolescents (12-18) and young adults (18-25).
College Readiness Program
Support for students who are entering or enrolled in college and need help managing new social and emotional challenges.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) | California, Ages 9 - 25
Group-based therapy for those who struggle with mood swings, depression and anxiety, and self-injurious or suicidal behavior. Skills groups are offered for children (7-12), adolescents (12-18) and young adults (18-25) in California.
Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT) | New York, Ages 14 - 24
The program is a 26-week evidence-based intervention for teens, college students and young adults to help them increase social connectedness and flexibility.

Intensive Academic Interventions
Intensive, individualized academic interventions for students struggling to meet learning benchmarks due to mental health and learning disorders.
College Success Program℠ | Ages 17 - 21
Offering weekly telehealth coaching in organization and time management for teens and young adults, as well as intensive groups.
Autism & Related Disorders
LEGO® Therapy Social Skills | Ages 7 - 12
LEGO® Therapy Social Skills Group is a 6-week, evidence-based, group therapy program designed to help elementary children with social communication and social skills difficulties.
Children’s Friendship Training | Grades 2 - 5
Children’s Friendship Training (CFT) is an evidence-based social skills program for elementary school children who experience difficulties making or keeping friends.
PEERS® Program | Teen, Ages 13 - 17
The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) is an evidence-based social skills intervention for motivated teens in middle and high school to help them make and keep friends.
PEERS® Booster | Teen, Ages 13 - 17
PEERS® Booster is a 6-week social group for teens ages 13 – 17 who have completed the PEERS for adolescents program and would like to continue working on their social, friendship, and conversational skills in a small group setting.
PEERS® Program | Young Adult, Ages 18 - 29
The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) is an evidence-based social skills intervention for motivated young adults to help them make and keep friends.
Intensive Programs
For those with severe symptoms, or for families traveling long distances for treatment, we offer intensive interventions with highly specialized behavioral approaches. Depending on the need, this treatment option allows a child and their parents to be seen for several hours a day, several days a week. Our intensive treatment options include:
OCD Program
An intensive treatment program for those struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related disorders including chronic tic disorders, hoarding and trichotillomania.
Selective Mutism Service
An innovative program that helps children with SM overcome their symptoms using state of the art evidence-based behavioral interventions.
Behavior Treatment
Intensive interventions with highly specialized behavioral approaches. Children who have co-occurring mental health or learning issues can also participate in testing or treatment to address their multiple needs during this program.
Intensive Academic Interventions
The Child Mind Institute offers intensive, individualized academic interventions for students struggling to meet learning benchmarks due to learning disorders or pandemic disruption.

Intensive two-day summer program for students who are entering or enrolled in college and need help managing new social and emotional challenges.
College Success Program℠
Year-long organizational coaching and support for young adults who are about to go to college for the first time or had some difficulty during an initial college experience.
PEERS® Program | Young Adult
A 14-week evidence-based social skills intervention for motivated young adults to help them make and keep friends.
Social Anxiety Group | Young Adult
In-person one-week intensive group for young adults to promote coping skills to help them manage their anxiety.

Interactive training for parents and caregivers to help manage problem behaviors in the home.
Mindful Self-Compassion Course for Caregivers
Six-week virtual course to help caregivers learn self-compassion practices that promote emotional wellbeing, healthy habits, and satisfying personal relationships.
